Ok well, actually our local off-brand version, but whatever. With the Volvo still in the shop and the Alfa needing... a lot, it was up to the old Saab to take the trek.
I got about half-way there before I ran into problems! Luckily, the problem was just that I’d neglected to get a car wash before heading out.
I’ve actually never been to one of these things, but I was sort of expecting it to be a bunch of lowered cars, bros, loud engine revving, and clouds of vape smoke.
I was not wrong.
But, of course, the majority of the people we pretty cool, as were the cars. I didn’t snap many pictures because you couldn’t swing a dead cat without hitting someone doing just that.
There were quite a few interesting cars there, including the old Citroen, pictured in the lead, a Z8, a Pantera, and a fellow Alfa club member brought an old 105 Giulia
We also managed to get an 83, 84, and 85 Saab 900 out! Three flat noses in one spot! The 85 was even an SPG.
Overall the event was fun, but I don’t think I’ll go out of my way to do it again.

Hey, thanks for the post. I really like cars, but I don’t put much stock in car shows or gatherings. I’m more interested in the cool cars that appear at some other type of gathering. Like at a swap meet or something. I’d love a chance to drive one of those Saab 900s.

I tried hard to remember the mantra “there are no bad cars, if someone likes it, it is a good car” but when the stock Ford Flex showed up I... I just couldn’t.
